Attachment plates
Roller chains with standardized carrier attachments offer design engineers in plant and mechanical engineering many options for their own designs. The standardized carrier attachments (to ISO 606) serve as an interface for mounting individual, functional attachments to roller chains.
Advantages of roller chains with carrier attachments
- Flexible mounting on one or both sides
- Custom pitch spacing available
- Compatible with simplex, duplex, and triplex chains
- Versatile for drive, conveyor, and lifting applications
- Enables multiple functions when used with custom chain attachments
- Robust performance in demanding temperatures and contaminated environments
- Positive, slip-free power transmission
- Economical over the entire service life
- Wide performance spectrum through various chain sizes and multi-strand designs
- Supports a broad range of transmission ratios
- Large center-to-center distances are feasible (e.g., in conveying systems)
- Chain elongation clearly indicates the end of the service life
- Easy to extend and shorten as needed
- Bidirectional drive is possible
- No pre-tensioning required, resulting in no static load on bearings
- Fire-safe materials
- Available in zinc-plated, nickel-plated, and stainless steel finishes
If our standard attachments don’t meet your needs, we can manufacture custom carrier attachments quickly and precisely to your specifications.
Attachment plates – dimension table
This table shows our standard carrier attachments. In most cases, dimensions b, d, a, l, and i can be modified. Additionally, the outer contours can be customized to fit your specific needs.
